Continuing Education University Program "Blasting Technology"

Admission requirements
- Successful completion of an engineering degree at a recognised domestic or foreign university,
OR - Successful completion of courses worth 60 ECTS credits from the first four semesters of a bachelor's degree at the Montanuniversität Leoben,
OR - Possession of a valid authorisation to carry out general blasting work in accordance with the Ordinance on the Proof of Expertise, Federal Law Gazette II No. 13/2007 § 6 Zi 3 lit a) or a comparable ordinance.
- Certificate of reliability within the meaning of § 63 (3) ASchG, Federal Law Gazette No. 450/1994
- Payment of the course fee.

3. Commissioned final examination
In order to be admitted to the final board examination, the following courses from the Bachelor's degree programme RI must also be completed:

After successful completion of the ULG (compulsory subjects, optional subjects, final examination), participants are issued with a blasting licence in accordance with the Ordinance on Proof of Specialist Knowledge (BGBL 13/2007). This includes authorisation for general blasting work and also for deep borehole blasting work.
The ECTS gained on this course can be recognised as free subjects.
